Dr Angelo Contarino has completed a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, has been practicing as a psychologist since 1993, and has experience in working with adults, children, couples and families. He is currently a general committee member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) national College of Clinical Psychologists (CCLP) – Conference Chair and Lead On-line Peer Supervision Groups (OPSG) project. He is also the Secretary of the CCLP Queensland section. Dr Contarino has worked in numerous public and private sector environments including – hospital facilities, adult mental health services, child and youth mental health services, crisis response teams, school settings, the disability employment sector, and in private practice since 1997. He originally worked as a sole practitioner on a part-time basis with available hours increasing in recent years. The current private practice location at the Hub Convenience Centre was opened in September 2018 and Dr Contarino has attracted other experienced and reputable professionals to join him here.
